I hope everyone is well,  

 

We are excited to open the bookings for this year's School Games Outdoor Adventurous Activities.

This year all activities will take place at:

 Venue - Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre (HR2 0LD)

Date – 9th March 2026

 

 This event is aimed at young people in year 5/6 who may struggle with the move to high school, lack confidence, or need to improve their teamwork skills. The event will be based around orienteering and team/personal challenges. Your team will be made up of 15 young people with each school having a 3hr slot.

 

Feedback from last year –

'The children gained a lot of useful skills during the day and it was a great opportunity for them to be learning outdoors'

Please email me stating which time slot you would like plus, an alternative timeslot in case your chosen one is full. Don't forget to ensure you have transport before you book!

Slot 1   10am -1pm

Slot 2   11am -2pm

Slot 3   12pm – 3pm

Slot 4   1pm -4pm
